Rube Goldberg Machine

For the last two weeks in a course called Blast Off we have been making our own Rube Goldberg machines. Rube Goldberg was a cartoon designer who drew 15,000 cartoons in his life. his hobby however was making complex machines that do simple tasks.
Here are some questions about how we made our machine (Squid is my buddie for this task):

  • How did it feel to work with your teammates?

It felt more fun getting to work with people that we got to pick ourselves. I think that me and my group member work well together because we are quicker without another group member that does nothing.

  • What roles did each group member play?

I did most of the designing and squid did a lot of the constructing. Squid was the camera man and I pushed the car to start.

  • What do you feel successful about?

I felt successful about that we only had to try our machine 2 times and the second time it went perfectly. The car didn't go to fast and knock over all the dominoes without hitting the ping pong ball.
