Marae Noho

Hi guys, welcome back. Last week we visited a marae. The marae was finished boulding in 1930. The marae has moved 3 times. It was a 3.2 million doller project. They told us that in the marae were 107 tiki's on the walls

On Thursday when we arived we had to wait for about an hour. Then finaly the lady came out and sang her song. Then there was a pohwiri. After the pohwiriwe ate lunch. We then had some rotations. my group did every single rotaion exept for walking. After that we made our beds. Then we had dinner. The food was nachos. It was my first time ever eating nachos. I thougt they would taste really yuk but at the end it was really yummmmmmm. Then we had our performance. My dad only came because my sister had to go to bed and my mum had to stay with her. After the performance we went to our beds. In our beds we had a little time to read or draw.

OnFfriday we packed away our beds. Then we would put our bags in a big hall and go to a court. At the court was Koka Ngaire. We had to do some runing. After the runing we ate breakfast. There was weet-bix, spagetti on toast and beans on toast. I ate weet-bix but I didn't put enough milk on them.

This is where we slept.

This is our Kapa haka group.

That is the top of the door.
